Forum
The II Cultural Diplomacy and Technology Forum 2026 was successfully held at Delta Hotels Ottawa by Marriott, bringing together approximately 250 in-person and online participants from different countries around the world. The Forum served as an international platform for dialogue on cultural diplomacy, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and global cooperation.
Among the distinguished speakers, Ingrid Berlanga Vasile, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Mexico, delivered an insightful presentation on “The Future of Culture in a Globalized World,” emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural identity, strengthening intercultural understanding, and promoting international collaboration in an increasingly interconnected world.
Ritika Saraswat, Founder & CEO of Re-Defined, shared valuable perspectives on the impact of artificial intelligence on youth career development and the transformation of future professional opportunities. Meltem Yıldırım İmamoğlu, Founder of 3G Vakfı Global, also addressed the growing role of artificial intelligence in shaping modern societies and advancing global innovation.
During the Forum, moderator Islam Khalili highly appreciated the organization of such international initiatives by the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD), highlighting their importance in promoting global dialogue, intercultural cooperation, and diplomatic engagement. He further emphasized CCCD’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of these initiatives and noted that collaboration with embassies and international partners in this direction will continue to expand in the future.
The Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD) also expressed its sincere appreciation to the Embassy of Mexico for its valued participation and support of the Forum. CCCD highlighted that the active engagement of diplomatic missions and international representatives plays an essential role in strengthening global understanding, fostering cultural exchange, and advancing meaningful international cooperation through dialogue and shared initiatives.
The Forum concluded with a networking lunch reception, providing participants and speakers with an opportunity to strengthen international connections and exchange ideas for future cooperation.
